STITCH PRINTED™ CANVASES

Pixels on Cotton

Founder Jennifer O’Meara helped pioneer fine art digital printmaking in the 1990s by adapting Iris 3047 printers to print on fine art papers and brings that extensive expertise to perfecting printing on needlepoint canvas. Jennifer has developed a proprietary process for Pixels on Cotton using her own color profiles, specialized software and customized digital printers in the same way she revolutionized fine art printing over two decades ago. Notoriously difficult to print, needlepoint mesh has met its match in the Pixels on Cotton studio.

WHY?

In order to grow, a company needs to look at what new technology is available to them in the marketplace. With shipping delays, painting service delays and a general lack or materials it became apparent that broadening my horizons would be an important next step. It was a clear choice for me to work with Jennifer since all my pieces are stitch painted and very precise. I didn’t want something stamped, it had to be produced with precision, and it was a bonus that I can also support another female operated business based in the US. All of these canvases are stitch printed™ and quite meticulously crafted. I am not transitioning all of my canvases into printed pieces but I am exploring options and enjoy introducing needlepointers of all ages to new and exciting things.
